Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, IAS
Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa was born on 12th December 1964, He is an IAS, presently serving as the CEO of Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) and MD Punjab Generation Limited (PGL). He has a rich lineage with many family members serving as generals in Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Army.
In his stint of serving with the Govt. of Punjab he has served at various post varying from being a Magistrate in the various district of Punjab. He has also served as Director of the Govt. Museum and Art Galley Chandigarh, Director Tourism, Cultural Affairs, Museums and Archives, Govt. of Punjab. He has also served as Additional IG -Suptd. Burail Model Jail Chandigarh. At the Jail he started the first workshop for the revival of the Pierre Jeanneret style of furniture.
He is avid collector of Punjab Memorabilia. He has given on loan Pierre Jeanneret Furniture from his private collection to the Chandigarh Museum and Art Gallery and also to the Le-Curbusier Center. He has also donated the Todar Mal Haveli to the Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC)
